FLORIDA OFFICER AND MAN GET SUCKED INTO DRAIN PIPE DURING FLOODING

Police, fire, and EMS can all find themselves in strange and potentially dangerous situations. They do their best in a rescue situation to not put themselves in the same danger that a victim may be in so only one person needs rescuing. The worst situation is when there doesn’t appear to be any immediate danger and the situation suddenly changes. There was some major rain and flooding in Pensacola Florida. An officer is out helping stranded drivers whose cars have stopped in the high waters. He and a man are walking across a ditch when they both suddenly get sucked into a drain pipe and are taken under the highway for about 100 feet. The trip takes about 30 seconds, but it must have felt like a lifetime not knowing how long you’re going to be under water. The officer bodycam catches the whole thing. Be careful as you might find yourself holding your breath in anticipation!
