THIS FOOTBALL PLAYER IS BIG. LIKE, REALLY BIG.

Over the years athletes have gotten bigger and more athletic. It used to be that if you had a 200lb lineman in high school football that could move quickly that you had a “unicorn” of a player. Now it is pretty commonplace to have players that size that are also very athletic and not just big guys that are heavy and hard to move. Over the years there have been players that have seemed too massive to play the sport or be successful only to have a meaningful college career and maybe a good NFL career. This may be the biggest one yet. Brionne “Big Bubba” Ramsey-Brooks comes in at 6’5″ and 455lbs per the TCU stats sheet. There is limited video of him here and it’s from high school, but it looks like he might be able to play at the next level with some success. The competition gets better as you go up so he might get beat more often with players not so intimidated by his size and have more moves to get around him. It will be interesting to see how far he goes.
