FANS JUST GOT BLINDSIDED BY THIS NEWS ABOUT MICHAEL OHER AND HIS FAMILY

In a story that seemed too good to be true it finally comes around that it may have been just that. The story of Michael Oher is well known. It came to light when he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2009. When he came on stage with his family you could tell there was a story there as his family is white and he is black. As his fame bloomed as a first round pick out of Ole Miss the story of how his family came to be came to the forefront that he was adopted by Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy because he was being shuffled through the foster system and they saw someone they could help and foster him and his athletic ability. The Book The Blind Side and the following movie became hits and even garnered an Oscar for Best Actress for Sandra Bullock. It was a fairy tale of people doing good when they didn’t need to. Fast forward to now and it appears that the dream the Tuohy’s built may not be that clear cut. Michael found that he wasn’t really adopted but was instead put into a conservatorship and that the money made off the movie and his likeness wasn’t being given to him but going into their bank accounts. He is taking legal action now to get it ended. This is a difficult situation for sure. We’ll just sit back and see how it shakes out and hope we don’t get hit from the other side as well.
