COUPLE HAS A TOO MUCH MONEY IN A JUG

Maybe it’s not too common anymore, but there was a time when we all had spare change on our person. We needed it for snack and pop machines when we need something quick or at a ball game or work. You either needed a quarter or a friend did and you were happy to give it to them. Sometimes that change would get to be too much because you didn’t have a chance to get rid of it. So, you would empty your pockets and put it somewhere to keep for later. Most Gen Xers had a giant beer bottle coin bank that they won at the fair in the corner of their room that they placed the money in that they didn’t need. Someday it would fill up and then they would take it to the bank to see how their saving added up. A couple in Minnesota filled up water jugs with pennies. The problem they have is that it’s too big for the bank to handle. So, they’re trying to figure out how to get those pennies in the bank that are several hundreds of dollars.
