If you’ve ever had major surgery you probably don’t remember it. Why? Because you were sedated and unconscious. You remember everything around that. Imagine having a major surgery where you are wide awake and that surgery is on your brain. So, you’re definitely going to know if something goes wrong. I’ve heard of this before when it comes to brain surgery. The patient is awake while the doctor does their work and they usually are told to keep busy doing something. In this case it was to play guitar. You get to see some of the surgery from the patient’s side – nothing gory and watch as he plays guitar as the doctor works his magic. It’s weird, but at the same time cool to see that not everyone is deep asleep while they get the help they need.
