KANSAS CITY AND SAN FRANCISCO ARE HEADED TO THE SUPER BOWL
Written by Tony Schultz on January 29, 2024
It’s official: The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers are headed to the Super Bowl. The Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 17 to 10 to become the AFC Champions. Then in the NFC Championship, the 49ers came back in the second half after the Detroit Lions had a 17-point lead, and won 34 to 31. Of course, Taylor Swift was at the Chiefs game and gave Travis Kelce a celebratory kiss. Over at the Niners game, Journey was on hand to play “Don’t Stop Believin'”. And since they’re a San Francisco band, they OMITTED DETROIT from the lyrics, and made the “city boy” born and raised in the Bay Area. When it comes to the Super Bowl, do you have a favorite part? According to recent poll of 4,730 adults, 32% prefer the game. 20% say NONE of it, 16% like the halftime show, and 14% like the commercials. 11% aren’t sure and 6% prefer the announcers’ commentary. The game takes place Sunday, February 11th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It airs at 5:30 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+. Usher will perform the Halftime Show. Reba McEntire will perform the National Anthem.
