SHOOTING AT THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SUPER BOWL PARADE, CROWD APPREHENDS SHOOTER
Written by Tony Schultz on February 15, 2024
Too often we hear about this type of thing in our country. Shootings can happen anywhere and in most cases there are several innocent victims. Yesterday the Chiefs were having their Super Bowl Championship celebratory parade. A few people in the crowd obviously had a disagreement and shots rang out. Two people were arrested and one of them was actually stopped by the bystanders just out celebrating their team’s win. Sadly, one person died in the altercation and 21 people were injured. Those folks that jumped on and held down the one shooter are heroes! They disregarded their own safety to protect others and make sure the person didn’t escape. It’s scary to think you could be going to something to celebrate a win that brings everyone together and suddenly be in the middle of something like this.
