IOWA’S CAITLIN CLARK BREAKS ALL TIME SCORING RECORD

Unless you’ve been living under a very large rock you have probably heard the name “Caitlin Clark” the last couple of years. She is the BEST women’s basketball player in the country and she is playing ball for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. This season has seen her team – who are very good and her chase not only wins, but the overall all time scorer in NCAA Women’s Basketball. I’ve watched her play a few games and she is just phenomenal. She is so good and so popular that attendance records have been broken at any area she travels to. If Taylor Swift brought more attention to the NFL then Clark has brought women’s college basketball even more attention. The only difference is that she is actually playing and folks are coming to see her play for or against their favorite team. When she leaves college she will take that following to the WNBA. Her 3 point shots are so smooth and her ability to lead her team are things every girl that plays ball should admire. She got close to breaking the record last weekend against Nebraska in their arena and was only 8 points short. Back on their home court last night she quickly put the record watch to bed by quickly scoring those 8 points with the record breaker being a 3 point shot from WAY outside the arch. Caitlin is definitely an inspiration to all female athletes and you have to hope the Minnesota Lynx get to draft her when she comes out.
