It’s one of those weekends made for having a wee bit o’ fun! With it being St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday there are specials and parties at many local bars. However, there are family events and ways you can help out the Hunger Task Force as well. Here’s a bit of a map to have some fun this weekend.
Everybody loves a parade! The St. Patrick’s Day parade is right downtown LaCrosse. They’ll be collecting donations for the Hunger Task Force along the parade route.
When you’re done at the parade head down the street to the .01K Run/Walk. You need to register to participate and get a shirt! The funds also go to the Hunger Task Force.
St. Patrick’s Day is actually on Sunday and you may want to change up from traditional Irish foods. The Shelby Fire Department is having their annual Chicken Q and it’s a great way to help get rid of that hangover.
