A BIGGER WWE SUMMERSLAM IS HEADING TO MINNEAPOLIS IN 2026

If you trained, said your prayers, and took your vitamins then your dream may be coming true. The WWE is bringing Summerslam to Minneapolis at US Bank stadium in 2026 and they’re expanding it to two nights. August 1st and 2nd they’ll be wrastlin’ downtown in the home of the Minnesota Vikings. I haven’t followed WWE for quite some time, but I know some of the names associated with it. The things I look forward to is that they always make local connections with celebrities and sports teams while maybe bringing a few into town. I can already imagine Jess Ventura, Ric Flair, Brock Lesner, and Roman Reigns being a part of the event as they all have connections to Minnesota. Lesnar and Flair being former Golden Gophers and Lesner and Reigns both spending time with the Vikings while Jesse was the governor in the late 90s. Minnesota does have a rich history with professional wrestling with Ravishing Rick Rude, Curt Henning, Verne Gagne, and even Mean Gene Okerlund having ties to the state. You just have to wonder if any Vikings players, who will be in training camp around that time or Timberwolves will show up. If Anthony Edwards was in the ring wearing a “Bring Ya Ass” t-shirt I would probably get excited too.
???? EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT ????@WWE SummerSlam is coming to U.S. Bank Stadium in 2026! SummerSlam will make history by expanding to two nights on August 1-2, 2026. Who's ready for two epic nights of wrestling in the Twin Cities?!
