PRICE IS RIGHT HAS A BIG WINNER IN HISTORIC SHOWCASE BID

If you were growing up in the 80s or 90s there was one thing that helped a day home sick make you feel a little better. Between sips of 7Up or ginger ale and toast with a side of chicken noodle soup you got to watch The Price Is Right. Bob Barker entertained you for an hour as you played along guessing the price of home goods, appliances, trips, and brand new cars. The culmination of the show is the famous Showcase Showdown. Your hope was that someone would get close enough in their bid to win both and you could go back to school and brag about seeing it. Last week a man did just that is historic fashion for the show and it sort of overshadowed Pat Sajak’s final episode in the daytime TV world. You have to see it to believe it.
