MAN GOING VIRAL FOR SHOPLIFTING BUT HE ACTUALLY WASN’T

From the files of don’t believe everything you see on the Internet comes the story of a man that WASN’T shoplifting. Bill Astle was unknowingly recorded by another customer at a Walmart simply taking items from his cart and bagging them looking like he was stealing the products. It turns out he was working for Spark where he shops for people with an app at Walmart and simply scans his phone at checkout. It quickly spread all over the Internet with Bill getting approached by people on the street and having to explain himself. It’s too bad that the person recording him didn’t ask what he was doing or got a store person to check and correct the situation right there. I guess that maybe it was more important to get clicks and likes.
