HURRICANE BERYL IS STRONGEST EARLY HURRICANE EVER RECORDED

Something we don’t have to deal with in the tristates is Hurricane Season. That is reserved for the southeast portion of the country with the east coast at times threatened. The bulk of the season with the best chance for hurricanes is from August to October, but it actually starts in June. These hurricanes are usually weaker even though they can cause damage. Currently Beryl is at a Category 5 with 165 mph winds. It is hitting Jamaica today and could be devastating to the country before it moves towards Mexico. It may dissipate as it reaches land or crosses over it, but the damage will be done regardless. Something to think of when we complain about when it snows or is humid.
Sadly we aren't done with this beast that continues to define the season. #Beryl continues this morning as a Cat5, 165 mph beast just before the new advisory. That shouldn't yield anything weaker.
