OK, not really. Watching a snail race is akin to watching paint dry in some respects. However, it also has a feeling of fascination to it when it’s done with such enthusiasm. There are quirky events like this all over the world and even if the action isn’t very intense the sense of community is strong. Would I ever get into snail racing?
