AUSTRALIAN BREAK DANCER HAS TAKEN THE INTERNET BY STORM FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS

When we get the chance to see the greatest the world has to offer in sports we know that it will not go perfectly. Yes, even Simone Biles can have a misstep and have to settle for silver. Sometimes someone falls off the beam or doesn’t dive properly. They’ve done it hundreds of times before without an issue. Are the bright lights of the Olympics too bright sometimes? Yes, but maybe it just wasn’t their day. Somehow one Olympian was allowed into the games and I don’t think she was having a bad day and was in fact, just bad. Rachel “Raygun” Gunn from Australia, who has a PHD in dance performed in the Break Dancing competition that was having its debut at these games. She was … bad. Break Dancing is not an easy thing to do and it combines dance with some pretty athletic moves similar to gymnastics. While she may have done some “dancing” it was nowhere near what real break dancers do. If “cringe” was an interpretive dance then this would win the competition. She scored exactly ZERO points in everything she did. It sounds like the competition has also been dropped from the LA Olympics in four years. Her fault? Probably not, but it didn’t help.
