APPARENTLY, 10 YEARS HAVE PASSED SINCE THIS KID BECAME A VIRAL SENSATION

Apparently, tis the season for county fairs! Showing off baked goods, crops, and any array of animals is apparently popular! And apparently 10 years have gone by in a blink of eye! When something goes viral it can quickly die off after a month or so or it can become part of everyday pop culture reference. One of the longest running, if not the very first internet inspired memes or quotes is “LERROOOOOYYY M’JENKINS!!!” and if shouted as someone charges blindly into danger most people get the joke. That one has lasted almost 20 years. One that came out 10 years ago wasn’t as crazy and actually was more on the adorable side of internet fame was “The Apparently Kid”. He got interviewed on live TV at the fair and he couldn’t stop using that word in almost every sentence. It actually catapulted him onto bigger opportunities. It doesn’t feel like 10 years ago, but apparently it has been that long since he popped on our computers and made us laugh at the innocence of a child. He apparently made his way back to the county fair to talk about that moment and he still takes his grandpa with him. At least when they’re not watching the Powerball.
