DID A METEOR BLOWUP NEAR US ON FRIDAY? MAYBE.

Last Friday around 6:13AM many people started buzzing about a flash and loud boom around the LaCrosse area. I started seeing a few posts and then the number grew. People were commenting that it wasn’t just LaCrosse that noticed it, but folks as far away as Brownsville and Winona saw it as well. Black River Falls seems to be the central location of it with people snapping pictures of a smoke trail and even sharing come security footage of the flash. Meteor? Space trash? That leftover firework that the guy down the street was saving for such an occasion? There is nothing 100% yet but it would be pretty cool if someone found the object and it could be confirmed exactly what it was/is. As long as it isn’t anything that’s going to destroy the world we should be good.
