DAD WALKS THROUGH FLOOD WATERS TO WALK DAUGHTER DOWN THE AISLE

So, first off I’m going to say that this was not a great idea. It wasn’t safe and he almost got killed. I love my kids, but this is only a “good” story because he didn’t die. It could have been a tragedy. With all the flooding in the south due to hurricane Helene many people are stranded without food, water, electricity, or any way out. But in other places life goes on and events are still happening. A man decided that his daughter’s wedding was worth the risk and he decided to walk to the town she was getting married in through flood waters and debris so he could walk her down the aisle. While I can appreciate the sentiment and am happy he made it he almost died when he got stuck in some mud. No one should attempt this as it puts you and rescuers in danger. This story could just as easily be about a man who lost his life.
