ICONIC MINNESOTA SPORTS PHOTO FINALLY GETS REMADE
Written by admin on October 22, 2024
Photos are the windows to our past. I’ve always felt that way. Some photos are better than others in that they caught an iconic moment in history, life, or sports. Even if it’s just the cover of a magazine they can become iconic in their own way. For Minnesota sports fans one such magazine cover was a team-up with the Timberwolves, Kevin Garnett and the Vikings, Randy Moss where they switched jerseys. They were showing that two of the youngest and more popular athletes were currently in Minnesota and making a huge impact on their respective teams. Garnett actually came up with the idea. Over the year fans have suggested other top players from each team recreate the picture, but none were ever as big as right now with the Wolves, Anthony Edwards and the Vikings, Justin Jefferson. There fandom stretches beyond the state of Minnesota with fans showing a lot of respect to two of the best players in their respective sport. So, ESPN decided it was time to recreate the iconic photo. Fans are rejoicing!
Finally. Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson recreated the iconic Kevin Garnett and Randy Moss photo ????
