DEER NEEDS A BEER I GUESS

The hunting season kicks off this weekend for most. Hunters dressed in their blaze orange tromping out into the woods looking for that elusive big buck. Not everyone is looking for a trophy though as they are just happy to meat in the freezer. No matter why you head out there it’s a great tradition passed down through the generations. But maybe we’re trying to hard. Going out in the woods might be the wrong approach. As witnessed by a few folks at the American Legion club in Houston Saturday night the deer just might be trying to get to us on their own. Patrons heard a commotion at the front door and went to look only to see a deer run down the street into the darkness. It must have seen it’s reflection in the door’s window and thought it needed to get rid of that other guy. Then again, he just may have wanted to have a Crown Apple and cranberry. The security camera caught the whole thing including a gaggle of folks running outside seeming to say, “Guess I CAN just hunt from the bar!”
